Child Custody

Legal custody refers to the authority to make decisions for your children on important issues in their lives, such as schooling, religion, medical and extra-curricular activities. Physical custody refers to the time your children spend living with you.

Parenting time (visitation time) is granted to the non-custodial parent through a court order, most commonly the Parenting Plan. Both parents may mutually agree to deviate from the Parenting Plan as they see fit for the best interest of their child.
